Each "Wild Duck Fairy Lantern" is hand-painted by an artisan. From the initial sketch to the final coloring and sealing, it goes through multiple meticulous steps.

The little wild duck on the lampshade features layered, detailed feathers, while the ripples and water patterns seem to gently flow under the light. We have specially formulated gradient pigments to give the artwork a different texture depending on whether the lamp is on or off. When unlit, it appears fresh and elegant, like a delicate piece of desktop art. When lit, the warm glow shines through the painted surface, bringing the scene to life—as if the little duck is truly swimming across the water.
